Xtreme Magic Sing

My family loves to sing.  Even when we were small kids, singing is our way of life. Me and my brother know how to play the guitar, my parents are both good in playing the organ/piano and my 3 sisters  are all good singers. Modesty aside, i would say that our family is musically inclined. Still vivid in my mind when my mom bought us a MusicMate Karaoke Machine in the late 70's - for the benefit of those who doesn't know what i'm talking about, let me describe it to you.  It is a black rectangular box which  looks like a primitive luggage with 2 cassette compartments A & B wherein you put a minus one (music without vocals) cassette. It has a Vocal Effects Processor where you can adjusts the delay, echo and reverb of your voice output.  The sound output will make you  feel like a pro singer - unless you are not out-of-tune, hahaha...

Just to give you some trivia, according to Wikipedia, "Karaoke" is derived from the Japanese words "kara" which is short for karano, meaning "empty," and "oke" which is short for okesutora, which means "orchestra." The words combined literally mean "empty orchestra" which implies the function of a karaoke machine, music minus one (to borrow a phrase from jazz practice nomenclature)--musical accompaniment without the singer.

The old Karaoke machine not only makes our family and friends get closer but it greatly improved our singing prowess as well.  Then comes The Magic Sing Videoke Microphone.  It is a revolutionary appliance with similar concept of the first karaoke systems, only it is compact, and portable. It is in the form of a microphone wherein it has slots for micro chips that contain hundreds to thousands of songs. This technology had also outdone the use of karaoke minus one  tapes and CDs.

Now,  there are new models for aspiring singers and magic sing enthusiasts.

Ako'y Isang Mabuting Pilipino became a significant song during the last national elections as it challenged Filipinos to choose to fulfill their duties as good citizens of the country. The song lists the various good deeds and values that need to be cultivated within every individual to become a truly good Filipino.  The words are perfectly captured through images by award winning illustrator-writer Jomike Tejido.

In fact, he was recently named Peace Ambassador of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. He also supports various organizations that promote development and understanding in the society. As a recording artist and a concert performer, on the other hand, Cabangon has released more than ten (10) albums and performed all over the world --France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Kenya, Thailand and Hong Kong.

House of Traditional Javanese Massage and Beauty Care. The first branch in Manila, Philippines of the authentic and largest Traditional Javanese Massage establishment in Singapore since 1999 (with 8 branches in Singapore). With an area of about 330 square meters, conveniently located on the 3rd Floor of E. A. And it is true that everyone who enters the spa gets the feeling of being “away from the city”. The front desk consultants wearing the attractive “kebaya” (a traditional blouse-dress combination that originates from Indonesia and worn by women in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Burma, Singapore, southern Thailand, also worn by Singapore Airlines’ flight attendants) will tour you around, making you wonder at how meticulously built the spa was. Try the skilled hands of the therapists well-trained by Indonesian and Singaporean trainers, definitely another edge over competitors.
